I recently opened an account with sportsbetting.com and deposited money through my credit card. I made a couple wagers the first night and ended up winning a bet that they didn't post to my account for several hours. I wasn't happy with the time it took for the payout so I asked for a withdraw. I withdrew eveything I put in and asked for it to be deposited in my bank account. Three days later I get this email. I don't really feel like giving a copy of my Drivers Lic and credit card to them nor anyone. Really not happy with this whole situation. Any suggestions on what to do?

Dear Robert,

I am writing to inform you that we currently require documentation to be sent to
us with regards to your account (47705694). The reason we must perform this

official photo ID (driver's license or passport) to verify your identity, a copy
(front and back) of each of the credit cards used on your account and also a
copy of a hardcopy statement for each card.

You can scan and email the required documents to this email address or fax the
documents to 1-800-201-4919 at your earliest convenience. Please remember to
clearly mark any documents with your Customer ID number 47705694 and enlarge and
lighten any faxes if necessary to aid clarity. We will verify the documents and
will process your withdrawal as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause, however these measures are
essential to protect customer Also, for security reasons, any pending
withdrawals you may have from your account will be suspended until the requested
information has been received and verified.

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us.

copy of DL and CC are standard when deposting via CC

Doesn't it make more sense if they would request such info BEFORE they charge a credit card than after a withdrawl is requested - after all the charge already went through and you apparently knew the card #, exp date , code on back, etc. Your being jerked around but unfortunatly there's probably not much you can do about it. FYI, I mostly use credit cards( for my own protection) and I have never had such requests made.Try asking for a fed-ex!

Whats also weird about the whole thing is the amil address. Its different than any other address they have used when email anything about my account. I requested to be paid via check, so I'll wait and see what they say.

Thanks

These people refuse to do anything with my account without all my personal information. I even asked them to just credit my credit card back. They just keep saying they have audited my account to prevent fraud and will not do anything until I send a copy of my credit card statement, drivers lic, and credit card. This whole thing is bullshit.

This is why I will NEVER play at Sportsbook.com or Sportsbetting.com

It's like being pulled over by a cop. Once they have your money, they'll tell you to bend over and get ready for Butch.

Say what you want, they will NEVER listen to any rational argument.

They pay - but that is not the point - if you play there long enough, you will inevitably have some sort of problem and when a problem arises, the customer is always wrong.
