I am 53 years old, and although there are times and situations I wish I were younger, betting is not one of them. I often reminisce with Friends, the good times of inside info, so-called smart plays and lucky streaks. On the downside, I remember the lonely walking home from Dog Tracks on Payday with nothing in my pocket, endless borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, new systems faltering and the embarrassment of not being able to take out the latest Girlfriend.

The sad thing is a lot of people stay in that environment, even getting worse in some cases. I have had friends like this, and luckily, with others, have managed to get them on an even keel. Some alas, were beyond our help and slipped into what is a devastating situation for all involved. I have noticed this Week, an increase in ridiculously stupid claims in posts that can only be made for personal gratification.

The reason I have brought this up is, I think the majority of posts and plays on here are fictitious and the overall impression given is one of the whole Forum cashing in.

It cannot be under-estimated the influence this has on someone who is already convinced that they can make the Game play. I feel the more experienced Gamblers, and to a degree, the Moderators on here, have a responsibility at all times to point out extreme nonsense, be it from undercover touts or irresponsible posters. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is some sort of warning stamp on over-zealous posts or statements.

I am sure this post will receive a few shallow remarks, but I feel it is everybody’s responsibility on here to do our best, at all times, to protect the naive.

Virtually impossible for Mods to read and decipher every ounce of whats written...Adults need to decide what they want to believe and what they want to bet...We're all over 18 here..

th

Winbet...I hear what you're saying but if we carry your reasoning a step further it'd make a good argument to outlaw gambling advertising or even gambling altogether.

As for a warning stamp, never underestimate the Rubber Room...if someone is a fraud, good chance there will be a thread about him there.

I'd hate to have a mod put a warning in one of my picks threads in case I got overenthusiastic one day ... it'd probably spoil my motivation for posting my picks at all. A capper does the forum a favor by sharing his hard work for free and then he has to face disciplinary measures in case some people overbet their bankrolls or do something else stupid that is their own fault!? Doesn't seem right to me. Picks threads are to be either appreciated or ignored, not restricted or censored IMO.

Do you mean the betting amounts? If they post their picks before the games go off don't know what you could do.
