I have never understood why most posters here feel insulted when a MOD moves a post from one forum to another. I mean no disrespect to those that do, I am just wondering why they feel the way they do.

I got upset a while ago when my non gambling thread was moved... but that was because other non gambling threads were staying..

I dotn think anyone can get mad if its a rule enforced on all

Personally I always add a post of my own to the end of the thread when I move a thread (except in site promotions) or at least I try to, sometime there is not a lot of time when I am alone late at night.. Moving posts is not always easy and to be honest I am learning to be as fair and correct as possible before I move a post. I remember the post I moved on Noreaga and to be honest (again) it could have stayed here offshore in fact these days it probably would, mods can learn to.. Some nights the forum seems to be more general in posting tone, other nights more sports especially if there is a big game going on and still others more gambling if certain posters are on-line. Off topic stuff that will usually stay offshore are questions about topics that can help a poster either solve a problem or earn or save some money. Comical posts can sometimes stay if they are within the loose framwork that pasts for good taste around here. Threats, racism, personal attacks, profanity and porn are sure to be moved.

Wil- Thanks for the response. I know that it is hard and I am sure that part of the decision is based on who originated the post. I am wondering why some people feel so insulted by the action.

I asked a similar question in the RR with little feedback Ace. Some non-gambling forums I visit, I do not see much response at all when moderators work, but in the gambling forums I have read, it seems there are people who really like to throw a fit. I asked if it had something to do with gambler mentality.
