Las Vegas Sands has agreed to pay a $10,000 fine after a minor was caught gambling and drinking at The Venetian hotel-casino.
The minor gambled at the megaresort for more than an hour on April third. That's according to a Nevada Gaming Control Board complaint.
The complaint says three dealers, a floor person, a security guard and cocktail waitress who served him alcohol failed to ask for his identification.
When the minor attempted to cash his chips, the casino learned he was not 21. The complaint said he was 19 years old at the time.
In its settlement, the company admitted the minor had been drinking and gambling at the casino.
The Nevada Gaming Commission is scheduled to consider the settlement at its January 27th meeting.
