I am finally convinced it means nothing. They are playing like it is 70 degrees outside

That is why they are pros

Never will fall into square trap again and bet totals based on weather

JJ:

It is a misconception that cold weather necessarily leads to play the Under. Anytime one plays the Under, they are left open to short field scores due to turnovers which often times occurs in cold weather. None have occured yet today, but the wind creates some favorable field positions. Of course the game is nearing halftime and the final results remain unknown, but care should always be taken when playing totals in less then ideal conditions.

I agree that weather is overrated in terms of football. If anything the overs look more tempting as most bad weather = turnovers & short fields. The only condition that catches my eye is wind, especially with pass happy teams. I remember a few years ago when my Gators were #1 & went into Auburn as almost 3 TD favorites & lost outright. The thing that hurt them was the wind.
