I was going to post the same question.

It's worth saving the vig to have something like that. I guess a PDA is what you need.

A PDA with one of those mobile wireless cards would do it. You're at the mercy that the site can be displayed properly on a small screen though. Some sites just don't work well with PDA's. Intertops is one that i know for sure has a PDA enabled website for sports betting.

A friend has a PDA/phone and I was able to access this site ok and Bet365. Only problem was how slow it was downloading. Now, the processors are 5 times faster then his so I might make the investment.

How much is the ISP for them?

MJ....

Dell has a good deal on their website. No interest for a year if interested.

That's where they gouge you Tony. I think they're like 59 or 69/month (way too expensive unless you're going to use it all the time IMO).

MJ23;

I have used a PDA and I think sportsbet said it best: "You're at the mercy that the site can be displayed properly on a small screen though",

I think you'd be better off to go with those books that offer a wireless interface, otherwise it might become an aggravating pain to use a PDA rather than a convenience.

Good luck

Treo 600/650 can access just about any site out there, but don't think they are available with Nextel quite yet. Once Sprint takes them over you should be set. Blackberry does probably work for Pinny and a few others, but the key thing to ask for is Java capability. I have a non-Java capable phone (in fact I am writing this response with it) and it sucks that some sites don't work with it. Still the fact is I get Skybook's half points and Pinny and Holly's reduced juice thanks to it so the moderate hassle is worth it, unless you are like JJ and don't think shopping is worth it.

Also allows you to be productive during long rides on the train as I am doing right now. Cost is only $15 more than phone service with Sprint, a great bargain.

Snoop Dog says you need a sidekick 2

I use Sidekick and it is great. I got it from Tmobile and it runs your service plus $30 for internet per month. I get 3000 anytime minutes and unlimted I net for $130 a month plus tax. Unit runs about $200-350. I got 100 credit for trading in my camera phone.

I have Tmobile also. Maybe I'll go that route.

I'm not in front of a computer every night. If I bet a dime at pinnacle on one game and lose I saved $50. How is it worthless? :howdy:

Tony let me know how you make out. I want to make a move on this you would think if there is a decant product out there that these books would work a deal with the company and use it to lure betters to bet on the run , they would recoup the cost in know time!!

Just found out the Dell ones can only be used with Wifi. That doesn't work for me.
