As most of you know, frequent the watering holes quite often.

Have a ton of of wagers i like to make occassionally to pick up some free suds.

These are bets that most will take up with me because they think they have the best of it, when in reality they have a considerable less than 50% of winning.

Would like to add more to my arsenal.

Anybody care to share some of their favorites?

Thanks

Will provide you with only one(unless you twist my arm) that will get the free beer more times than not.

In baseball, when a batter reaches a 3-2 count, make a wager with somebody that the next pitch will be a FOUL BALL.

Thats right, more than 50% of the time the next pitch will be a foul ball.

This one will get you lots of action and free suds over the course of the season.

Fisher- Most of my tricks involve the pool table or a pool rack. The easiest one involves just one pool ball. I will try to draw a picture, it is easy once seen done.

Take a pool ball and put it close to one end of the table about 6 inches from the rail. Place your middle finger on the ball and lay the rest of your hand as flat on the table as you possibly can. The bet is by pulling straight with your middle finger make the ball hit the opposite rail and make it come back past the spot (where you put the one ball when you rake). It is Impossible to do, unless you make your middle finger moist. Just lick your fimger slightly or better yet hold your drink in that hand before doing so making your hand somewhat moist. Do not get your finger too wet though because you will leave a spot on the table and the jig will be up.

I have many pool gaffs, but this is the easiest to explain without showing.

It's a local thing but we used to have "Phuck the Phillies" nights at some of the local places here. Everyone would call an inning when Bowa would make a dumb move or when we would have a bad baserunning gaffe or an error or a timely out and the winner would get his tab paid by the losers. Of course way too many people started winning so we had to do live in-game Phillies Phuckups. It was always great trying to predict when the game would go bad...I got a lot of drinks when we played some of the west teams like SF and COL late in the year here. It was almost too easy.

I tried that one Fish, but the guys were sharp, they made me lay -250..Jim Eisenreich was at bat!

Just kidding, but damn if "Twitch" didn't have a mean OPS.

sportsbet, watch your mouth, my Phils are sacred, even if they've had cheap@ss ownership of late in one of America's largest markets, and now have a weak GM in Ed Wade..there just aren't enough Lurie or old Carpenter families in Philly?

LOL Shoe...I'm getting sick just thinking about it. At least the smell coming from Citizens Bank Park got me a lot of drinks. :drink:

Ok, another one.

Bet somebody you can throw a match in the air and have it land on its side.

TRICK--Before throwing, bend the match and it will fall on its side many more times than not.

I can pick a Quarter out of your hand before you can close it.

I start with my hand on my chest. You hold the Quarter in your hand, flat out, with you elbow bent at a 90 degree angle in front of you.

I can do it 90% of the time. There is a trick but you will have tobuy me a beer to see it.

Professionals never give their secrets out for free. ;)
