progress made in Panama saga

It looks like TOW has made some progress down in Panama.

"TOW has the exclusive coverage of this document through which the Panamanian Authorities have determined the legitimacy of Player's claims and have ordered the Juridical entity who had issued to the Bond of $181,702 to pay 35 players, each one of them to receive 76.24% of their original balance with Betpanam."

but what about the players who are not on the list for some unknown reason? I sure hope that TOW intends to get everyone paid.

Panama is a disgrace. They owe over 600k and a year later decide to pay (if it ever comes to fruition) less than 20 cents on the dollar keeping a cool 400k for their own pocket. I am happy if anyone gets paid but dont think it isnt a complete f cuk job. 100% scum. For Roberto to suggest they are paying 76% is wrong. Roberto, please do not pump this place until everyone is paid. They are paying around 20 cents on the dollar and cant even do that fairly as many people are getting absolutely nothing. Legitimate people that even you have confirmed sent money. How you could be involved in negotiations where you simply cut people from a list is beyond me. Take a list of people owed and pay everyone a percentage.

Panama is scum, that is all there is to it.

Give Roberto a break now... his goal has probably been to get at least some players paid, and if that happens, Rob should have all the credit he can get. Without him no-one would have seen as much as a cent, guaranteed. I am sure that afterwards he will do whatever he can to get other legitimate players paid too.

The ends never justify the means in just about everthing in life. I have no problem with Roberto. I do have a problem wiith him posting they are paying 76 cents on the dollar. They aint. It is around 20 cents on the dollar. I refuse to stand by and watch fluff being posted when many people are taking it up the ass for LARGE money. Sorta a slap in the face to all the people that are owed and getting nothing , wouldnt you say Slash?

This Panama nonsense has been going on now for what over a year now? Every month or so we get a new update saying people will get paid. Then no one gets anything and the next month another update and more useless words. It's time to let go and realize that NO ONE WILL EVER SEE A DIME FROM THESE PEOPLE. I know a hand job when I see one and this whole situation is one big fat hand job believe me.

Odds that we'll still be getting updates on Panama in 2008:

well, on thing is for sure, without Roberto there would be no hope getting paid at all!!!
I guess hope is better than nothing when you have money at BetPanAm. Everone must decide wether or not the hope is falsh - I personally believe it is not.

I don't think Roberto has ever said that he thinks the case is solved and Panama is Heaven if the 35 or whatever players are paid. Hopefully this is only the beginning because every legitimate player must be paid before this case is fully solved.

I just think Roberto deserves more credit than he is getting. If he wasn't there, no-one would have gotten anything. I don't recall Roberto ever saying that he was satisfied if the $180k is paid out....

No question General. But this was the intent the whole time as reported at MW. Pay a few accounts. Stiff the large ones. Go to the forums and say they are paying and get praise for doing the right thing.

It is what they are trying to achieve. Ther are trying to pay 20 cents on the dollar then have people talking about it in the forums as if they are paying. This is what they want.

Not a word should be said about what they are doing until everyone is paid. Roberto can have all the credit in the world when this happens.

Now is not the time for credit and back patting. People who are owed hundreds of thousands of dollars have been told they are getting nothing and are now reading how Panama is paying. Sheva people are owed huge amounts of money and are being told they are getting nothing.

It worked I guess. Exact same MO as the Betpanam scam. Get some forum leaders to post about them doing the right thing and then screw everyone else. Deja vous. Conmen are successful because they are good at pulling the wool over peoples eyes. Well they are not being pulled over this guys eyes this time.

No one forced anyone to send them money. The warning signs were there but instead you chose to crap all over anyone who sounded an alarm. These folks let their GREED (big bonuses, off lines, etc) overtake their common sense and now the ones who got crapped on for warning that this was coming are supposed to feel SORRY for them???

Roberto is no Savior. I'd like too know how Roberto actually makes money for all his trips around the sportsbok world. Seems too me he has money and just does this too act like he gets respect from these sportsbooks and can actually help any of you. Too me he is a con-artist out for him self and along the way he gets lucky and gets some guys paid. He posts half-truths which too me shows his true self and make ones believe he is doing so much great work. Since most of you un here have no way of knowing the real deal most of the time, he gets away with it. My advice too all of you is too realize about 10 percent is truth and 90 percent is what you want too hear. And last note: just remember those ratings on his site and othere sites who gives ratings are bought and paid for!!!
