what is Action Reverse, Action If, and Win reverse, I know what an If win bet is.

do these terms mean the same to everbody in the industry and to locals? Are there other terms other than these above that are common (I guess IF lose is used at times)

if a guy calls in a "$300 Philly and Philly over Reversal" and the over pushes what is the payout

Double winner.

Think of it like this.

Philly +300
Philly over -Push
Philly over -Push
Philly +300
-----------
+600

  1. The Wager Amount, when using $110 to win $100 plays, is the amount to win per wager.
    • i.e.) A 2 play Action-Reverse using 2 $110 to win $100 plays, depending on the outcomes, could involve between 2 and 4 individual wagers.
    • i.e.) A 3 play Action-Reverse using 3 $110 to win $100 plays, depending on the outcomes, could involve between 6 and 12 individual wagers.
When making a $100 Action-Reverse wager, it is assumed that you are really risking $110 to win $100 per individual wager. Therefore, a 2 play $100 Action-Reverse wager could lose $220, win $400, or some value in between.
  2. The maximum loss amount will be restricted from your account at the time you place the wager. When all corresponding games have finished, the restricted cash will be un-restricted, and the appropriate win or loss amount will be applied to your account.
  3. In the event that a game is cancelled, any Action-Reverse wagers with plays on the cancelled game will be reduced. A 3 play $100 Action-Reverse wager will become a 2 play $100 Action-Reverse wager. A 2 play $100 Action-Reverse wager will become a straight bet, $110 to win $100. If all plays are cancelled, you will have no action, and your restricted amount will be immediately refunded.

Where is the if win or push definition for a reversal. I thought the whole idea was if you win you wnat to bet the other side to go for the big payday, if you lose than no. a lose push would be a big loss then. -660.

IS a REversal two IF WIN wagers or two If WIN PUSH wagers. the chart above does not agree with your post. Im still confused.

what is a REVERSE wager
Action Reverse
Action If
Win reverse
I know what an If win bet is.

are these all different wager types or are some the same thing. thanks.

It's an "If" bet. They call it a reverse because you reverse the order of the "if" bet.

See:
http://www.wsex.com/info/cond-info.html

and

http://www.wsex.com/info/rev-info.html

So "action reverses" or "reverses" are actuallt "Action-to" wagers put together. There's a lot pf slang out there and probably no exact answer. As far as I know "reverses" are constructed of conditional bets where a win or a push gives you action on the next event.

I find it easiest just to look at the payout chart JJ posted and see if that payout profile works for you.

If you don't want action if it pushes, you can manually construct your own "non-push reverse" by setting up two "If-then" bets.

======================
A Conditional wager is a group of bets on two to three outcomes placed at the same time. There are two types of conditional wagers, IF-THENs and ACTION-TOs. Conditional wagers are useful for placing bets on wagers that go at the same time. You can also place a conditional wager where the later game goes first. The order does not have to be in the same order as the game times. These wagers are different from parlays since you don't have to re-invest all of your winnings in the subsequent games.

Conditional wagers are accepted on totals and sides.

Typical IF-THEN bet

$110 to win $100 on Team A in game 1
If the above wager wins then
$110 to win $100 on Team B in game 2
If the above wager wins then
$110 to win $100 on Team C in game 3.

If Team A does not win, you have NO ACTION on Team B or Team C.
If Team B does not win, you have NO ACTION on Team C.

If all 3 win you win $300.
If Team A loses you lose $110.
If Team A wins and Team B loses you lose $10.
If Team A wins, Team B wins, and Team C loses, you win $90.

It is not necessary to bet the same amount on all three games. An ACTION-TO wager is similar and contains the phrase "If the above wager wins or pushes".

IF-THEN's
If the first wager wins then the following wager has action.
If the second wager wins then the third wager has action.
If any wager in the IF-THEN bet loses or pushes all of the following wagers are NO ACTION.
ACTION-TO's
If the first wager wins or pushes then the second wager has action.
If the second wager wins or pushes then the third wager has action.
If any wager in the ACTION-TO bet loses then all of the following wagers are NO ACTION.
