Getting Some Garbage from VIPSports

Hi guys,

I am new here, and pretty new to the whole internet gambling community, but I am having some problems with VIPSports that I don't really know what to do with. The money is I'm sure nothing special for them, but the way they've dealt with me has annoyed me to no end. Here's my story:

It all started in December when I few buddies and I wanted to bet on a college basketball game. After a friend's advice, I deposited at VIP on a credit card (I realize it now to be a MAJOR mistake) and I made a bet for just over $130. I won the bet without any trouble, and decided to withdrawal the next day. This is where the problems began.

First, I was emailed a credit card verification sheet which I had to fill out, and fill that out while emailing my license/credit card back to VIP. This form was completed and emailed out on December 14th, and my money was pending. It seemed quick and painless, although I never got my money. Next on December 26th, I received an e-mail from VIP addressed to a different user name, which addressed me by the wrong first name, and said that my Neteller request (for the wrong amount) had failed. Pretty bizarre, I thought, and since it was in the midst of the holidays, I figured I'd just take care of it in early January. The problems continued.....

Three more times throughout this month, using my registered email address, the email was re-sent. Also, I used an AOL account once to send the same information, in an e-mail that is around 2.5MB in size (something any server should be able to hold). Went to LiveHelp to verify the e-mails throughout this time, and they continue to say that none of these emails were sent. They were all sent to the right address (believe me, customer service repeated it so many times that I'll never forget it), and although I never received a delivery notification status failure, which I ALWAYS receive after a faulty e-mail, VIP claims to have not gotten any e-mails from me.

I went to customer service this week, and was finally reminded that I could fax the info, which I proceeded to do last night. I faxed the info and left, and of course was informed this morning that the fax was never received. I was then told by customer service that it was my fault because I didn't wait to confirm that it went through. I've faxed things before and never had a problem, much like I've done with email, and never had a problem. I am now being told to re-fax the info, which I will do this weekend, although at this point I'm not sure it will make a difference. Any suggestions? Thanks for listening guys.

With friends like that you don't need enemies! VIP is a losers only book. They don't like returning money once you send it to them. Try Pinnacle...Olympic...or WSEX.

Tony, I would suggest to let THE GENERAL assist you.

Seems odd they would give you such a hard time for $130

nor- My guess is that most normal posters do not want to admit that they bet so small on games, just my thought.

Nor, I have said numerous times that I find it odd that 99% of threads with payout type issues are from posters with just a couple of posts ad in 1/2 it is their FIRST post.....how can that be? Some around here didn't find that odd! They say people find therx because of situations like this.....what do they do type in "xxx book waon't pay, help!" in google?

I don't buy it, and i'm with you.....if i ever have an issue with a book i will post on here as SHERMAN.

....and that's enough agreeing with NOR for one day

First, thanks to those who recommended the other sportsbooks. Believe me, I'll be trying those in the future should I find the desire to gamble again.

Second, I am no ghost. The moderators of the site are free to check my IP address, and attempt to match it to another name here. They will see that it fails, and that I am a college student on a college IP.

As I said, I am pretty new to the whole gambling thing, and was recommended to VIP by another buddy of mine who once played there and won. He had no problems getting paid, and told me to take my bet to VIP Sports. After this trouble I've had getting paid out, I asked this same buddy what I could do to make sure I eventually get paid. He spoke to his brother (a more frequent gambler), and his brother recommended taking my complaints to theprescription.com, and sportsbookreview.com. How he knew about these places I do not know, but I will find out if it is somehow important.

In my live chats recently, I've even mentioned to VIP that I would be willing to take my complaints to these places, in hopes that they'd realize that I am not a dumb college kid that they could steal money from. Obviously, they took my statements with a grain of salt, and I posted my complaint here and at sportsbookreview.com. If there are other sites I should post at, let me know. I am not trying to steal money from VIP Sports or commit any fraudulent acts in doing so. I even opted not to take a bonus that they were offering, because I read in the fine print that I'd have to bet it over multiple times, which is something I wasn't interested in doing.

Don't flatter yourself with your detective work, Noreaga. This is not the only message board in the world where the IPs are hidden, and where I read/post. I've seen moderators check IPs at different websites in an attempt to match up current posters, not to mention I am no slouch in computer knowledge.

I always found it odd, how someone who has a problem knows exactly where to go (rx), but never visits there before the problem arises.

One more time guys: I am a very infrequent gambler, and barely of age to gamble. How long am I exactly supposed to post here before I can complain? I can imagine that I'm probably not the first guy here to complain about something, and I'm guessing from this thread that many regulars sign up with false names when they have a problem.

That is not me. I am sorry if it sounds shady, but it is the truth. I'm sure I will continue to be doubted, but all I'm looking for is some help. If I am a liar, then I will never post here again, it is that simple. I'm not here to bicker, and if that is all I'll be doing then maybe it is best that I don't even bother here.

The General, thank you for your help.
