Did Maryland win the Conference Tourney last year by beating Duke? Or was it a semi or quarter game? Or was it even last year?

I remember MD winning the ACC tourney well enough because I had Team Turtle in a futures bet to win the ACC tourney at Olympic. I also had like 3 other teams so it wasn't like they were my only bet but they paid very well.

The Terps swept the top 3 seeds in last years ACC Tourney, at Greensboro NC, where the damn tourney is held almost every year...IMO it was just as enjoyable as when the Terps won the whole thing two years earlier

thats great news. actually any time duke loses its great news when they lose at home its even greater news.

so duke lost huh? yeah, well thats what they get for having those non regulation hoop supports hanging from the rafters what a bunch of cheaters.

I wouldnt get too high on Maryland just yet, don't forget this is the same team that was down 26 at home at the half against NC State ( a team that only scored 11 points in the whole half against powerhouse St Johns).


Kinda funny the way the progression goes, Duke goes to NC State and blows them out, NC State goes to Maryland, and blows them out, so Maryland goes to Duke and wins.....

AGree Buc, this Terps team is not that good..Duke is overrated though...Duke is the 4th best ACC school, as I said before tonight...

This is not vintage Duke...

Keep in ming Md is 3-3 in the ACC, but they have played @ WAKE @ UNC and @ DUKE...I think at 3-3 after that brutal conference start is just fine...PLENTY of very good teams would have lost at all 3 places...Md will be much improved come March...
