i'm a michigan boy and i can tell you that the only thing done better in iowa was when 2 men put on goofy outfits and got all sweaty and rolled around on a mat together. a little too gay for us michiganders..

other than that michigan blows iowa away .

enough with the damn iowa threads.

Growing up in the middle of Iowa and in a town of 120, spent my entire youth on a baseball diamond, in a pool hall, in the bean/corn fields, or in the bowling alley.

Never got good at bowling, but pretty damn good at baseball and pool.

The pool hall and bowling alley is also where I grew my admiration for Budweiser at the age of 9-10.

Growing up in small town Iowa is something I am very proud of and fortunate to have done.

Fish how are the walleye trout as far as size goes in Iowa compared to say Minnesota? I need to know for a screenplay I am writing about a baseball field made out of a cornfield in Iowa.

Thanks, wil.:digit:

Wisconsin has the best Walleye, sorry to say, and Iowa is more of a Catfish state.

Minnesota is for Northern Pike.

Iowa does have the best corn, watermelon, and brocholi you will find anywhere though. :):)

WNO,

Used to play poker out here with Lamar.

Lived for a while in Royal Towers. I miss Herbie K's , Sonny's BBQ, the old Fish House and Jungle Jim's on Merritt Island. But most of all I miss Cocoa and Peaches doing a two-for-one lap dance at Inner Room for 10 bucks back in the day.
