Anyone care to share with me their story?

5 years ago top 10 book on most lists.

Stood up and bailed out stiffed players from Gamblers Avenue and Blue Marlin, maybe more. Got in a little over their head and then chose to slow pay some perceived sharp gamblers. Took a beating from posters on forum, then the Rx pulled them down mid 2004 for slow pays. Since, Royal has showed improvement on the complaint end other than a neteller policy and a recent casino dispute. There is alot that can be brought up to sling more mud, but that's it in a nutshell I believe.

Royal's past ? I have had an account with Royal for over 10 year at least and I have never had a problem with them. They have been around forever so that says something in itself. Great book in my opinion and they have great futures and options

I have always been paid promptly, even during the times that slow-pays were being rumoured. I play with confidence there.

I joined them when they were called Galaxy around 1992 and then they evolved into Royal. They have become one of my favorites. Let's remember that they had a representative present at our last Las Vegas Bash and were giving out free $ 5000 to RX posters who were at the bash ! They sponser quite a few free contests for our posters also. Great book in my opinion.:digit:

Nice to hear some nice things about the book I founded

Its funny someone says '92... they musta been playing with Bobby when I was watching his back... Anyway, we opened Galaxy on Feb 14, 1997 and a year later (after some unpleasent attention) we became Royal, again on Feb 14. I've been long gone, but since its still around and doing ok I'm happy for the joint and hope it does well as it moves forward. Don't forget Scotty, Bucky, and Omar, Tony, Suzi, Karima, Freddy, Kenny... hell... too many to name... John B and Roberto (cutting his teeth).. and don't forget Rob, Steven and Brahm... and oh, yeah... Bobby (again), Joe and Billy Bob. That was the Foundation and though a lot of things went wacky... and though it was once a Top Ten Book... I hope to see it there again. Its hard not to root for your children... hahahaha.

General summed it up pretty well. There was at least one other bailout, but for the life of me, I can't come up with their name right now.

Royal has always had money, but they created a LOT of unneccesary grief for themselves by not wanting to keep large amounts of it in Neteller. They also did a little "housecleaning", and got rid of a few players.

I haven't heard any complaints about them in quite a while.

Sherman: They seem like great people. They bailed me out of Blue Marlin ( 5k). Paid a little slow, but saved my butt. Even sent a turkey, and I haven't played there in a long time. I'll re-up at some point.

I played with them when they first started out as Galaxy. I thought they were a top 5 book when Scotty and Victor were there and transferred very large balances to other books from Royal during that time. Since Olympic, Pinnacle, and other books don't transfer with them anymore, and more importantly because Scotty and Victor left and strated BETJM, I consider them a book more in the mold of Bodog, Mybookie, etc. I dont play there anymore and probably wont again. Just my 2 cents.....
