As Mr. Smith said, he just doesn't care. He wants to live in Colorado with his new wife and ski and all that stuff that the super rich can do. Golf means nothing to him. In about five years, if his mind isn't total mush and he isn't a total washout, he'll make a valiant comeback -- maybe.
Plus, he's a complete introvert. In a way, I admire him because he is just doing what he wants to do now. If he feels like playing, he plays. If not, he could care less. It's a major waste of talent though, and that is sad. In his prime, the guy was money.
I'm still mad at him though for pulling out of the British Open last year at the last minute because I had a big bet against him in a matchup. Oh well.
