Last year I had a bet on N/E -6.5, and I got murdered on all of my props too. I stayed at home last year and I probably will this year too. From 97 to 03 I would fly, with my friends, to Philidelphia Mississippi and would spend the weekend doing the casino thing. They put on a great party. But seeing as how I'm semi-retired from casino gambling I won't go that route.

I doubt I'll gamble on it. I like New England but I don't like the chalk on the ML. The spread and total - I don't have a strong feeling. I would be surprised if I didn't find a few arbs leading up to it so I'll probably have a bit of that going on.
I don't really care. The Super Bowl is obviously a big hairy deal in the industry but to a guy like me who gambles all year round - it's more like amateur hour.

Probably a small play on Philly +7, and if it gets to 7.5 -110 or reduced vig, a little larger. A few props. I try to find one or two props that I can bet large on and then some smalls. I also like to shop around Sunday morning and take some of the +money on props that have been bet out of whack because everyone piled on. This strategy has helped me be profitable the last few years.
Last year had a NE future picked up at midseason at 9-1 and liked Carolina +7.5 for the game. Very profitable. This year, unless I sweep the props board, I won't do as well.
