Superbowl Public Report so far.....

With one week to go.....it looks like we're gonna be needing the Eagles come Sunday......everyone and their pet raccoon are betting on the Patriots like they were playing Fresno State......

Not sure what to make of it or how we're gonna get our folks to take the Eagles, but so far the decision is LOP - SI - DED .

Personally I think theres no chance of Philly winning and very little of them covering and it seems like everyone thinks pretty much the same thing, which makes me like our position but we still dont want a decision this large....

Of course more than a week is left before the game so alot can change but I thought Id give you a heads up :103631605

Slim, any lean on the totals yet?

How did your book do the last few Superbowls?

Do you usually win on both sides and totals or just one?

Did you ever lose both in the past 5 years?

Any info is much appreciated as it will help my overall decision making for the game.

Last year it was the Judge and this year you stepped up! Thanks again!

Personally I dont have very good experiences with Superbowls... LOL.

I agree with TT...I think the smart thing is to buy the hook to 6.5 or just watch...Slim I'm with you I have horrible luck with Super Bowls.

You are writing NE tix faster than superman, you think NE will cover, but you like your books position??? You want NE to win so you can pay everyone.

assassin, I think it was a little self-depricating humor....meaning he loves NE, which is a good indication they won't cover and thus payday for the book.

Im thinking Slim means: he has a bunch of square clients all loading up on one side, he knows more often than not when that happens his book has the right side and not the square bettors theyre booking.

Kinda pisses me off, I was liking the Pats. :sad3:

Not quite sure the squares bet this early. It was already stated if you like the Eagles, you shoud wait and hope to get over 7. That is why all the NE money coming in now.

I said I liked it because, when a game seems as obvious as this one, in terms of who the crowds are betting, it usually surprises everyone and goes the other way...specially in big games... (I.E. NE winning straight up as like a 14 pt dog against the Rams in the superbowl three or so years ago, Ohio State beating MIA as a 10+ dog, Carolina beating the spread last year against NE, the game going WAY over after it was like 0-0 almost at the half, BAL-NYG under looked so obvious it flew over....etc etc). Add to that the fact that I really like NE -7 and dont have very good SB histories, thus I like the decision.......how much of it is kept is not up to me though, at least not entirely......
