Real year round locals with steady customers will most likely use 7.5 and maybe 8 as game time approaches. Super Bowl only wannabe bookies that pop up at work or at the corner bar are liable to use anything up to -9.5 only because all their action will be on the Pats. These guys are not real books just hustlers taking advantage of a situation. There are thousands of guys who don't bet at all except on a rare occasions like this and will not really care or even know if they are laying a terrible number for their $50 or $100 bucks on the Pats. Same thing in Philly in revearse.

Rob ask Borat, I am out of touch as far as the Boston area goes, it's been many moons since I lived there. To be honest anyone dealing way off lines will have low limits unless he is a real bookmaker dealing with someone who has been vouched for, then you might be able to get down for a few dimes at plus 8 or 8.5. I have to believe the same goes for Philadelphia only in reverse.

Oh no! Most guys know about the net! There are still those that cannot get on on the net. Plenty that do not want to spend time on making a bank transfer to a book, have no credit card (that can be used for gambling), just happen to be short of cash, but do have a regular income. Anyhow compulsive gamblers will still be willing to bet with you even if you give them a lesser price and they understand that you will to have to "charge" them in some way.
