I am asking a question here. Bodog is not afraid of the middle because of small limits and square client base. Hanging the 7 1/2 brings in lots of new signups during Superbowl season. I would guess with the majority of their existing customers laying the points no matter who is playing, the new signups will help balance their action. I am just trying to work this out to make sure I am not missing anything. Does Bodog figure they have weeded out the smart money and can control limit wagers taking the 7 1/2? or Do they need enough Philly money to not worry? How many $5 wagers do they have already to think they can absorb an avalanche of limit wagers on the other side? This can't be a true opinion line with no worry about the bottom line can it?

do you actually have an account there and have you tried betting into this "7 1/2"? or are you just looking at the rx live lines service?

Is the +7.5 at -110. Someone else posted that they had it at -120, which is really right in line with what most books are hanging.

Just logged in and I'm seeing -7.5+100/+7.5-120. This is nothing that you can't get at at least 80% of the shops out there.

This is definitely not the best number out there. Just re-checked and found Sportingbetusa at a very fetching +7+105. Wow.

You know I didn't think it could be bought that cheaply so I didn't even consider it. I just checked and found it in a couple of spots at -122. I am used to not being able to buy on or off of 7 or 3. I am getting old.

Far as I know, most books allow you to buy on or off the 7 for 10 cents (not Pinnacle). And as far as I'm concerned, the hook is worth the 10 cents in this game.

I am sure Bodog wouldn't either. I would guess they will still get lots of less than sharp Philly money. By less than sharp I mean not willing to shop. Two dimes isn't out of the world money for even a square. But I can already see the answer to my question. Thanks for the education.

Bodog has been hanging Philly +7.5 -115, all day. Being Canadian I can't login. The fact you see -120 simply means you're getting their sharp line.

Bodog isn't worried about a middle because they opened the game N.E.-7 -1.05 when most operations opened N.E.-6.5.

+7.5 -110 isn't a rogue #. The largest online gambling operation in the world is hanging +7.5 -110, and has been for two days, Sportingbet PLC. You can hold accts at any or all of those shops, making your max wager virtually limitless. Anyone paying more than -110 for +7.5 is making a mistake.
