We would not go undefeated in the ACC. But we would be every bit as good as we already are, and we're going to be tough for anyone to beat on a neutral court. Love college hoops! Ga Tech is terrible, and I think we would have 2 losses in that conference. But who knows, it's all opinion.

Will fall tonight to the Spartans:hump:

That's why they play the game. I haven't heard anyone on tv giving us a chance. I like being the underdog.

They would have a very difficult time winning at any of the top 5 ACC Road games...

Not saying they're not the top team, but comparing the Big 10 to the ACC is a joke...:digit:

Illinois would win the conference, but most likely would not go undefeated.

You don't have to compare the Big 10 to the ACC to say that the Big 10's best happens to be better than anyone in the ACC. There's no law that says the best team has to be from the best conference.

There is no law of course, just curious how you guys think they would do @ the top 5 ACC schools... 3-2 would be amazing...2-3 probable...

Winning on the road in the ACC is the toughest thing to do in college basketball...

UNC,DUKE,WAKE,MD,TECH...all are more than capable of being in the final 8

Underdog???? Illini are favored in the game.:icon_conf

MSU opened up as the favorite at CRIS. MSU money poured in once the line went to IL -2.5. All the media is not giving Illinois a chance. That's all I meant.

This is a carbon copy of last week, people though no way could Wisconsin lose, 38 straight at home and all that...

Well we all saw what happened there and for ANYONE to think Illinois will lose here after all they have done so far is half off their rocker.

This isn't even close to the best MSU teams in recent years and just look back at the last 2 times these teams have played..

Illinois 75 MSU 51
Illinois 70 MSU 40???????

True those games were in Champaign but MSU wasn't even competitive! They do not match up well with this team and if you thought Bogut was overrated, Paul Davis is much more hyped for a white guy who folds like a chair in the clutch (see last year vs wisconsin AT HOME).

People must be thinking this is the final four and champpion spartains, well news for you all MSU backers, this is NOT that team, not even close to it, AND MSU hasn't beaten a #1 team since....LARRY BIRD's Indiana St team in 1979!?

Well, I did see WF play at Illinois and it wasn't pretty.

Don't bring up G-Tech. Didn't they just lose to Virginia Tech at home?

Journey, respect your opinion but winning at Wisc, Mich St, Indiana, Illinois, Minn, Purdue the last few years is very hard in the Big 10 too.

FW respect you and usually agree with you....Ga Tech is playing without one of their best players, they will be just fine in March...

Most of The Big Ten is reeling, the conference is down overall...

Ind way down
Mich not even close
Purdue WTF has been going on with them?
Minn never great
Wisc has emerged as 2-3 best team in conference, but certainly not a serious threat in march

They will struggle to get 2 teams into the Sweet Sixteen

Journey - Purdue fans want to know what is going on too. Being a Illini fan, I enjoy it, not as much as Iowa's problems though.
