Pinnacle Limits

Not sure what the point of their limits is...For example, it says that the limit online for a parley is 1176, however, on many occasions i have just placed the same parley time after time for the "limit". So whats the difference for them if i bet 3 1176 dollar parleys or 1 3528 parley?

also, on sides i've hit the limit on overnight bets, only to do the same thing, make multiple bets. So I ask, whats the point?

The Point Is They Have The Opportunity To Move The Line On You If They Want.

Never really looked at it from that angle. So basically you can bet as much as you have available on a particular game then, its not a true "limit" of your bet size.

How hard can this be to grasp??? You can hit a line as many times as you want at Pinnacle (1 minute between wagers). The limit is only there for them to adjust the line.

ok, how about in this case...wanted to make a golf wager on Vijay Singh to win Pebble beach..

"A maximum wager amount of 588.24 USD is permitted for this wager
Please press the continue button, then reduce the risk amount so it is equal to or below the specified amount.

If the amount entered is already less than the specified limit, check your pending plays for existing wagers on this event. Make sure the accumulated amounts do not exceed the wager limit. "

So lets say my accumulated wagers excees 588.24, are they going to cancel those? anyone run into a problem with going over the "accumulated amount" there?

I don't think so. If you are trying to place a wager and the software
stops you & gives you that message, then you cannot place that
wager. But if the software allows you to place the wager, regardless
of the posted limits, then i believe they will honor that bet, as long
as it is not considered to be an errant line {e.g. Spurs +10 instead
of -10 in NBA}. But it wouldn't hurt to get that it writing, in the
form of a printed out email response from Pinnacle.

BTW, & this may not apply to your situation, what i have heard before
is that if a line moves, the previously posted limit only applies to the
previous line, not the new one. And one is allowed to bet the new line
for the same limit again. And so on, with a second, third, or tenth
change to a line.
