But Eagles have majority in seven states with three more on the fence

JACKSONVILLE, FL, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ - With only four days remaining
until the biggest event in professional sports, sportsbook.com football fans
have overwhelmingly picked the New England Patriots as their favourite for
Super Bowl XXXIX.

But - sportsbook.com betting trends show the following states as strong
Philadelphia Eagles supporters:

- Florida
- Nevada
- Delaware
- Hawaii
- Iowa
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania

In addition, sportsbook.com shows several states are still sitting on the
fence, with a 50-50 split decision, including:

- Vermont
- North Carolina
- Idaho

"This really isn't surprising based on the way the Patriots have been
performing, but I would expect several states including New York and Michigan
to swing towards the Eagles by game time," said Alex Czajkowski, Marketing
Director, Sportsbook.com. "We will continue to track the trends as the big day
quickly approaches."
In addition to betting on the straight winner, sportsbook.com offers over
700 different props and odds for Super Bowl. These props and odds run from the
first play of the game, to the end, and everything in between.

Very interesting. I'm sure some books use this info to deal dual lines.

Vegas SB line update

As of noon Wednesday, the Patriots remained a 7-point favorite over the Eagles with the over/under starting to dip slightly. The most common total earlier in the week was 48, but several sports books have lowered it to 47 1/2. The money line - the odds to win the game straight up - vary more from casino to casino with the Patriots between -240 (risk $2.40 for every $1) and -300 depending on where you shop and the Eagles offered at +200 (bet $1 to win $2) to +250.
