Can someone tell me whether or not you'd recommend staying there?

Are the rooms nice and is the casino nice?

Do they have a sports bar/betting?

Thanks In Advance,

Beautiful casino and rooms. The beds are often praised as being some of the most comfortable mattresses in town. They have a sports book. No poker room. Biggest downside is that if you want to go anywhere else you have to drive a few miles. If you're comfortable staying in one casino and not going to other ones then GVR is very good.

Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino is top-notch. Rooms are very nice and the sports book is also very nice. They also have a place called the "Drop Bar" that has HOT cocktail servers.

I will see you Sunday, Ken. Call me if you have any further questions about Green Valley Ranch. I live two minutes from there.

GVR is very nice, a big local casino. I have not stayed there yet, so I can not speak about the rooms. They treat you vey well there though, kind of reminds me the way downtown places treat you, but it is much nicer. Reminds me of the the Fiesta, if you have ever been there. If you stay there though be ready for some major cab fares as it is way off the strip.

I stayed there once, the hotel/resort part is actually a lot nicer than the casino part.

The casino is pretty standard, the hotel/resort part is exceptional. One of the nicest places to stay in Las Vegas in my opinion.

Bill Clinton, George Cloony and Brad Pitt stay there, but then again, so does Michael Jackson.

Oh yeah, the one time I stayed there, while heading up to my room Chris Webber was standing by the elevator talking on a cell phone.

pricey rooms, I only stayed there cause they mailed me an offer for free rooms once after I had played some video poker there.

Jumped on that one, but they have not sent any more offers.:sad3:

Guess they figured out I'm not a whale.

One of my buddies just told me that it got voted one of the best sports bars in the country. And also voted the best place in Vegas to watch March Madness. Apparently, you can actually get a seat there.

I thought a very nice place during my short visit. SHRINK, they owe me $.50. See about getting that for me this weekend.

Thanks Sir.

Frequented GVR practically everyday as I lived close by......plus my girlfriend at the time was the hostess for the Italian restarurant.

Like I mentioned, worth the visit just for the women you will see on a daily basis.

Sometimes I wonder why I ever moved.

GVR is one of my favorite places. Casino is nice. It has great places to eat in there. Women are top notch. Only drawback is it is out of the way a bit. You can't walk anywhere you will have to drive or get a cab. When I lived there I was in there probably 4 times a week at least.

Thank you so much for the feedback...

While I have stayed in so many different hotels in Vegas, I have never been there, but now I am looking forward to it....

shrink...if you stay or visit at GVR, please let me know and I will make sure you are taken care of. I produced the tv show there last year and I am very friendly with the management. In fact, I am staying there this weekend and will be watching the superbowl at their party at Trophy's this weekend.

It is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Staff is very friendly and they will go the extra mile for you.

Pat Trafficant is the host you will want to use. Great guy. Very funny.
