Something I just don't understand....

Recently I have been getting alot of chit from posters Noreaga & Park City Rep. They constantly say stuff like "i doubt you really gamble" or "i doubt sherman even knows how to play craps" or something about me being a "small timer" because of my wager sizes.

it should be obvious that these are dumb comments but what i don't understand is how these people think it is an insult! I have made it known here SEVERAL times my normal sports betting wagers are from $50-$300. if that is small time, i'm cool with it. it really doesnt matter to me what OTHER people wager. i am not affected if they lose nor do i see any winnings if they win, so why would i care?

i'm starting to ramble here but my question is why do people think they are insulting someone because they call them on wagering amounts?

I would have to believe that the majority of posters and lurkers fall in to that range. Many would lead you to that not being the case but I just don't buy it. I may be totally of base here but just my opinion. Besides where is the shame in that? You don't bet 2 dimes a game are you kidding me? What are you doing here

I bet 5 or 10 bucks a game and don't care who knows it or what they say.

Gamblers who bet big just to impress others, to keep up with the Joneses, or because of what others may think are losers.

Bet What You Can Afford Period. I Play 500-2000 But Mostly 500-1000 People Should Not Degrade Others For Playing Less.

The People Who Should Catch S*it Are The Ones Who Say They Are Playing 100 Dimes On Games.

To me it doesnt matter if you bet $50, 100, 1000, 10000, or 100000. its only numbers. dont even let stupid stuff like that bother you.

tang, i'm with ya, but i don't understand how it is degrading because i bet less than someone....i bet how much i choose to bet, know what i mean?
i could have no money and thats why my bets are small or it could also be i have alot of money but don't want to bet more....

i find it funny because those are the type people that i probably would not like were i to meet them....

but it doesnt bother me, i just find it intersetng
