off topic: geography help

what city is located at 30 degrees North latitude and 10 degrees west longitude

could not find on the internet (4th grade son's homework and I'm out of town). Guessing it might be in Algiers or Moraco, but maps are not detailed enough (Marakesh is near there but I thought it was Agidir)

Closest I can come to is Timbuktu, Mali.......West of Niger and South of Algeria.

I actually think it was my first guess, Agidar on the Coast of Morroco.

Mararech was a little too far east.

Actually its 30 minutes East of Marakech, Morocco; if the question is the dead reckoning on lat & long its Marakech...if its to with in 30 minutes your in the Ocean. Teachers decision

No matter what the teachers decision, the teacher obviously challenges the kids...stop doing the homework and let them get it themselves, this was a tough question...I had to go to the Navy Weather site to find the answer, turns out I would have been swimming.

they usually call me on the math question to check. I'll tell you, his homework is much tougher than mine was at his age.
He identified some small city in Moraco, so I think he was fairly close.

I actually thought about going.
Friend could get a hotel room in Orlando, we split the car, tix were running 2300 upper level and 2650 lower level.

BUt this is a 3 generation game. eldest is 9 and has really been excited about football this year. My dad has been coming over for every game for the past 2 years. So we will have a family event and hopefully create a lasting memory (better memory if the eagles win).
Already told work I am taking off if their is a parade in Philly (guessing tuesday or wednesday) and told my son he can take off from school (wife didnt like that part). Not sure if we would go to the parade or just watch on tv (I still remember going to flyers parades at his age and phillies after that)

That money is BS for tix...they had a package from Atlanta for upper level and one tix via bus for 2350 and a room....what a croc. Stay home and watch the commercials thats my plan...and a day off from school with Dad never hurt any kid.
