As far as I know none of the moderators are involved in the process. New advertisers come and old advertisers leave. The mods are not involved.

No ...never consulted with.

Sometimes we may hear of an advertiser coming before the banner hits the forum, but usually not...

Thanks I kind of figured as much. I noticed that none of you guys have commented on the somewhat negative thread about the new sponsor, so I figured you guys were kind of in the dark about them as are the rest of us.

I think they should at least inform "The Mod Squad".

They do a fine job her moderating though

Every mod here at the RX brings a little something different to the table, but as Dante stated, the #1 thing is that we all try to keep the board as fully functional as possible and are here to aid any poster 24/7 as best we can.

I usually get word about a new advertiser or one leaving from the guys up top. They keep me well informed IMO, but I asked for it. To be as good as I can be, I need to know what is going on. I am not into marketing though. I only know about BP what has been discussed here. Hopefully we don't get in a bind with them. Time will tell. My best suggestion is to be careful with any book you feel uneasy about.
