I noticed this week that PInnacle is now charging 2.29% on all deposits. However, they claim on their website in the "Cashier" that all Neteller deposits are free. This is dishonest and crooked. I'm used Pinnacle for years as my top sportsbook.....looks like they are going downhill.

Ronalda,
Have you done book to book transfers? You only get free deps if you don't do transfers.

Ronnie,
Did you email them and ask for an explanation? For 2.9% it seems worth while.

I have just checked my Pinnacle records too. I have also been getting charged 2.29% for every Neteller deposit I made since Feb 1st.

Yet, on their own cashier page, it says all Neteller deposits are free. WTF??

Not for me or anyone I know

It is your account, not a neteller-wide policy...

They make their money by being "sharp". Not gouging players on deposits.

Sharp's ass. Your attitude of calling them sharp keeps them going.

They market well.
They pay.
They have good rep.
the 105/108 deal with no bonus is good in some ways. I think you need the 10% vig to stay open long term.

These guys bet. When they go bad-look out.

There has to be some logical reason why certain players are being chrged the 2.29% for Neteller deposits. I (or General) can contact Pinnacle on Monday and get an explanation and post it here. I will make a thred in the board room and link this thread to it.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TH align=left VALGIN="TOP">1/18/2005 Update on Pinnacle's deposit fees</TH></TR><TR><TD align=left VALGIN="TOP">Reporting live from Curacao, Netherland Antilles. Further to our initial findings we have received confirmation from Pinnacle that deposit fees are charged to players who choose to utilize ATA ( account to account ) and BTB ( book to book )facilities to fund their accounts. Pinnacle admits that some accounts have been applied these fees by mistake. They also inform that applied fees may not be offset retroactively. We advise Pinnacle's players to check their account history log to verify if they are being charged by mistake. Players who should find discrepancies in their logs are invited to contact Pinnacle's Customer Service via email to have their profile rectified.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

FWIW:I would advise anyone who may have been charged for Neteller deposits and have not used book to book or account to account services at Pinacle that you may have been charged in error. Just contact Pinnacle CSD by E-mail explain and ask for a rebate .

Stop trying to diss Pinnacle.

Why don't you email them first before coming here to ***** about it? The same thing happened to me, I was charged the deposit fee, I emailed them and told them to lock my book to book transfer fee and they refunded the deposit charge.

Man, just send them an email before coming on here to make such a big stink about it.

Problem was resolved with pinnacle. seems they made an error. BUT, the fact remains that they did charge me a percentage fee based on something completely illogical. They admitted this, and refunded the fee. No, I don't think I need to apologize because a so-called top notch book should be able to regulate themselves in such a way to prevent these "errors". Judging by the experiences of TOW, Baus, and potentially others, they should make their policies regarding these matters more clear.

First of all this is not your thread, and is my business if I change the title. Changing the title of this thread has nothing to do with you. The problem has been resolved and there is no need to degrade Pinnacle or any other book over this issue.

what? i am glad you changed the title...it is your business and you did the right thing. I was just wondering if he changed the title himself somehow right after I posted that to make me look bad. Notice my above post if you have not already to put my last post in context.
