I want to see Pitt go deep but I doubt they get past the Second round

I am going with Old Dominion if they make it as the sleeper

From DAY ONE, it has been NORTHERN IOWA.

However they are currently on the EXTREME bubble sitting 4th in the MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE.

RPI ranking around 60th currently.

When Southern Illinois shoots well, they are a very good team, and will knock off a 25 team in the tourney if they get hot.

The Missouri Valley appears to be a very underrated conference overall imo.

I say that because I know how good a basketball team Northern Iowa is and for them to be 4th is astonishing to me.

PS- Believe Northern Iowa is on ESPN2 tonight @ Creighton in what is a MUST game for them.

MVC is loaded with good teams that beat each other up on a regular basis. Watch out for Wichita St, as they will make some noise if they get in. The hottest team in the conference is SW Missouri St. They started off slow, but have been the best team in the conference as of late. Whoever wins the MVC tourney will be a tough out in the NCAA's. I fully expect the conference to get at least 2 bids, maybe 3. And don't forget about Illinois St, either. Loaded conference.

Ego, I just noticed you're in E'ville. What happened the other night? 19 point lead at home with under 10 to play and lose outright? I lost a huge wager on them, and had -4.

from what i heard they couldn't hit shots and stopped being aggressive. guess they were watching the clock. could be a deathblow for them the rest of the year.

Minnesota. Pacific (Sweet 16).

Fish, I am sad to say this because I like this team and conference, but N. Iowa isn't getting in without winning the conference tourney. Conference gets two births: Witchita St. and the tourney winner. If it's Wit., then it will go to S. Illinois.

Oral Roberts....if they can win the Mid-Con tourney, they'll pull the upset in the first round as 13 seed or so.

Not really a sleeper at all, but Kentucky is kind of quietly been under the National Radar this year....They will be right there at the top with a legit shot...remember last year everyone loved them (I did not)...This year its Kentucky's year to get back to the final four..

Utah, I don't know why this team isn't getting more Publicity, but they haven't lost since December and Bogut is as good as any player in America, i guess its tough to be a sleeper at a #3 or #4 seed though as they are sure to be.

Otherwise as a big seed I would say someone like Pacific which NO ONE knows about...

I look for Kansas to get bounced in the 1st round, VERY overrated team. Also can't see this Georgia Tech team doing much..If Stanford even makes the tourney there needs to be an investigation too, thats one mediocre team.
