anybody know what happened to las vegas linemaker herb lambeck? a native of nj before moving to vegas he was a boxing odds legend who worked out of the old downtown leroys and a lot of people knew him as herbie hoops. just wondering if he is still alive

I believe Wil informed me that he is back in NJ about a year ago, when I asked of him, and I may have read an article in Cigar Aficionado mentioning the same.

Bob Martin returned to NY before his passing on, and Herbie Hoops may have done the same in returning to his Jersey roots?

Those guys really love deli food, and though solid, Celebrity Deli just isn't NYC/Seaboard fare.

Herbie Hoops is a monster at boxing, hoops, and football.
