New RX TRACKING FOLDER Coming Soon! 500 post minimum

This will be something new we will be starting for those that like to keep a daily record, serious handicapper's who have a minimum of 500 Rx posts...

The folder will be used for picks and records ONLY...no chatter.

For those interested ,this will be starting during the college basketball conference tournaments...

I am not leading the charge here, but it will be a better thing for all cappers IMO. Jman and Wilheim have been working on the idea. Best of luck. I am looking forward to it as well. It may be a very good thing.

Thanks Buc. All questions and the actual format that we will use will be posted soon. In it we will explain the simple rules involved in order to be tracked. This thread is just a heads up for serious cappers that the folder is in the works. Personally I believe it will be an excellent addition to the Rx. Look for all the details and the actual folder to be up very soon.

Great idea. Only thing I might suggest is to have a common set of lines everyone plays against as we see in the contests. I would also add making a cut off time for posting, say 20 mins before agame goes. That way if people want to follow someone they have the chance to do so. Otherwise this is a great idea.

There will be a strict set of guidelines that will be posted in advance of this new record tracker folder...there will be adjustments made as we go...

A quick answer to Tang's question...it will be impossible to allow halftime wagering in this format, therefore there will be no 2nd half plays allowed....it will all be layed out for all who are interested...of course suggestions and ideas from anyone are always welcome, keep in mind we need to make this fair and economical for everyone involved, including those who look after the forum and make sure its being ran correctly...

One thing is for sure we will not being allowing newbies (500 post minimum)

I know you need a cut-off point but people like me who's been with this forum first as an observer (for a year) then as a member since 2003 should not be consider a newbie. I don't post as often but I'm here every day. Now in order to qualify I would have to post nonsense to reach my minimum. And I'm sure you don't want newbies in the next month or so posting all kinds of foolishness to get their post up. Maybe you should also consider the actual "join date" for those that don't post as often. Some of those member may help this forum also. Something to consider!

Piranha - good point, a lower post count but an old registration date is something we will discuss seriously. Obviously a poster like yourself did not join the Rx. two years ago to have your plays tracked someday. Stay tuned.

As long as every angle is considered......that's all I can ask for. I'm sure I can get my post up to 500 in the next month but I don't want to do it the wrong way. Don't want to abuse what this great forum has to offer with nonsense replys.
