Requires locking up money long-term, but thought I would point it out:

To Win the AL West (best prices at major books you can get):

Anaheim -200
Oakland +1250
Seattle +450
Texas +1256

Essentially it comes down to:

Anaheim to win the AL West -200
Anaheim not to win the AL West +203

It would be a steal if oakland could win the west. i do not think they could win the west so therefore to me it would throwing money away.

just my opinion

A better lineup and much better bullpen more than makes up for the loss of Mulder and Hudson. I have the Angels winning 90 games with the A's winning 94. The other two teams in the West won't crack .500.

Looking up and down the lineups, where exactly are you finding 15 games of difference between Texas and Oakland?

Texas better offense
Texas better bullpen
Oakland's starting pitching is better, but not much better.

ohhhhhhhh Hayden, you'd better do these plays at 2 different books, you may get a better payout. Throw your Rangers into the bowels of hell , bet against them often.
