What makes a book big?

Been dying to know what people here would consider a book "big" lets keep the talk to net wins per month.

I dont want to here about pinny taking million dollar wagers...bottom line before operating expenses, is all that matters.

I ask this question for many reason...1 being I keep hearing how wsex is so big....and I have to tell you....been there...seen it...and cant be that big with 10 employees there most of the time.

second half to the question .....how many books are making more than 1 mill a month....NET WINS!

Example - CRIS - they have a lot of players from $50 bettors to limit players and imo do very well at could be considered big. As far as how much a month CRIS or anyother book makes a month it would be pure speculation for anyone to say unless they were actually part of upper management at the book in question.

Please excuse my ignorance....but I dont understand.

Wil.....I agree...anythng here would be speculation....but lets try and speculate...I mean I read here all the time how safe so and so book is.....tell me...how "big" are those books.....how much do they win per month....and I dont mean....just the month a superbowl or march maddness accures...lol

I would guess there are probably about 50 books(taking biz from US players) maybe a little less, that gross $1m per month in win.

NT...what does that mean?

If you are Jay C from wsex....I dont want you to think I was in any way being negative about your operation. I just have been reading here for a long time...and wonder what people consider "big" lets face it.....everyone thought Alladins was big.....then they went belly up.....then there was Panam....again belly up....along with SEVERAL others that have been touted here. I just think bottom line is where it counts....taking milions in sharp action.....and making 1% sounds like a risky book....compared to taking squares and keeping 9%

Profitablity is everything..no matter the biz.
