looks like all the value is gone on the favorites...unless you had the foresite to get illinois @ 15:1 in november (nice d2bets).

here are a few that look pretty good to me:

maryland @ 80:1 (5 dimes)
utah @ 200:1 (5 dimes)
alabama @ 72:1 (olympic)
gonzaga @ 50:1 (wwts)

i took all of the above. if they win 2 games, then i will start to hedge.

Md has played their way into serious sweet 16 contention now...veteran point guard , and the young big men are all playing much better, if they can just stay consistent now, they have a nice shot get into the rd of 16, anything can happen from there...realistically could be as high as a #4-#5 seed...I wouldnt put them any further than advancing to the top 16

this is what i had at the beginning of the year..

Mich St 22/1
Pitt 30/1
Texas 25/1
UCONN 15/1

much better odds can be had on these teams now. Mich St is the only one i believe may advance to the final 4.

UConn big men are not ready to make a deep run

Pitt has not lived up, Tex either!

Mich St, too one dimensional to go far this time...

None of them are going to the Final Four IMO

Blue, those are all nice looking values. Just perusing WWTS, these look interesting on first glance...
Arizona 30-1
Louisville 30-1
Boston College 30-1
Cinci 75-1
DePaul 1000-1 (lol, hey they're capable of a couple wins and a hedge)

Texas' season was over when Tucker was suspended.
Uconn and Pitt wilt under pressure.
Mich St will need a good draw.

Kinda like to have ODU right now, LOL

I didn't even realize DePaul was 8-2 in CUSA play. Not too shabby, ahead of Cincy at 6-4 and they just beat them up good. Methinks Cincy may be overrated in comparison. Im going to say Dep 1000-1 is a much better value than Cincy 75-1, scratch them. Heck, with a good finish I dont see why DePaul can't play their way into a 5 or 6 seed. I'll take 1000-1 on just about any 6 or even 7 seed any day of the week. I just talked myself into the play. :103631605

I think UConn is one year away from being back, all these teams have been proven to be ready at tourney time, that is fo sure...This year though they all appear a year away...

Mich St has the best shot IMO, I can't believe how bad the UConn big men handle the ball, and they are a horrible FT shooting team...they have alot of young talent though lookout next year...

Blue, of course I am, but I make some good points there, no? I mean, 1000-1, can't go too wrong there. Demons have some good talent with Greer and Mejia. They won a toruney game last year and I think they're a better team this year. Started of slow but really have been very strong the last couple months. I think they have a shot at Sweet 16. And I knew they had to be damn good when they beat ODU by 13 points. :lolBIG:

How is Depaul 1000-1 and Cincy 75-1?

That's what I'm trying to say. The answer is name and past reputation. DePaul doesn't get the national press that HuggyBear U does. DePaul may very well end up with a better seed than Cincy. That doesn't mean everything, but it means something.

And DePaul has an interesting schedule ending the season at home vs. Louisville. It is not past them to win that game and possibly steal the reg season CUSA title. DePaul has quietly won 11 of their last 13 (8 by DD) after a rough 5-3 start. Tough road tests at Charlotte and Marquette this week though.

LMFAO

How many people just whacked DePaul??? WWTS now has it listed all the way down to 250-1 from 1000-1.

Same thing happened when I posted my Nets futures (not looking so good either). WWTS must do a lot of forum lurking, I guess. :lolBIG:

Uhhhh, not only that but they moved Cincy to 125-1 from 75-1.

WWTS....hello....come out, come out, wherever you are. LOL

OK, here's another. And I don't know what it is with these Illinois teams. I swear I'm not a fan, but...SOUTHERN ILLINOIS also 1000-1 at WWTS. This is a solid mid-major here with very good tourney history. Another team that is quite capable of reaching Sweet 16.

And so it goes......
