ODU probably second round, maybe Sweet 16.

Syracuse can win it, but probably won't.

Pitt can win it, and is getting better every game. They're really dangerous right now.

Villanova is at best a Sweet 16 team, most likely second round.

Kansas is a legit national title contender. And now that Roy Williams doesn't coach them, they have an even better chance.

Kentucky is probably an Elite 8 squad, but also has a chance.

Kentucky very quietly undefeated in the SEC...Last year everyone loved them , this year the Cats have quietly climbed to #3 and soon to be #2 now....

Most likely scenario, and my highest expectation for each team is;

ODU , one and done, but a solid well rounded team.

Syracuse , sweet 16

Pitt , sweet 16

Villanova , sweet 16

Kansas , final 4

Kentucky , final 4 best shot off all these teams to win it all

There is no need for me to comment, this is EXACTLY what I would have said.

Illinois
Kansas
Kentucky
Duke

My Final four?

If Syracuse rebounds like they did last night, they won't win another game. That first half was pathetic, as Pitt got 3 opportunities on every trip.

Glaken, you really like Duke that much?

I believe WF is the ACC's best team, very very slightly over UNC...I think they both get to the Final 4...

Top 3 teams ILL, WAKE ,UNC,

4 tie; Kentucky and Kansas

Just want to say a quick word here..Illini, Cuse is going through a rough stage at the moment; I think their coach is trying to get the teams' attention. There have been three different starting line-ups in the past three games. They will make the Elite 8 but I don't see them going to the 4. I think they have a great Coaching staff and are a couple years away from the 4.

Syracuse has never quite recovered from the Billy Edelin crap...This guy has been a pain in the arse now for 1.5 seasons...He was their most versatile player...Syracuse struggles on short rest as well and don't shoot free thows well, recipe for a quick exit...

Wow, JMan its too early to put me on the spot but if I had to I say, I would say Yes (a healthy Duke can go all the way)..Give me two weeks. I wish the smart group around here could spend an afternoon together for lunch and talk about this. Honestly once a team gets to the Elite 8 all bets are off on the Final 4.

UNC,KY,KU,Duke,Ill,Wake,Cuse,Nova.....thats my 8 but I swear there will be one surprise as always I am picking Gators.

I just can't see it. Warrick is a finesse player, and too weak to dominate. McNamara is lights out when he's on, but is too streaky. Forth doesn't have a pulse. The team cannot rebound as a whole. I think they get beat early, and they will have to prove me wrong for me to believe it.

...cinderella?

do you really believe Zona makes the final four? or is that just wishful thinking because hoping to cash in on a nice hedge of your Arizona future bet. I guess you have to think they will go far to make the bet, but final four?

Very good points Illini...I will be paying close attention to this Conference Tourny...How many Teams do you see going to the dance out of the Big East?

I also think the Winner of the Tourny is a 5 seed what do you think?

The Big East should get 7 teams in, but unless some one besides the top 4 (UConn, Pitt, Cuse, BC) wins the conference tourney, I think they'll get six.

Don't be too down on Syracuse yet. This team is playing similar to other Syracuse teams that have gone far in the tourney. Billy Edelin is the key. J-Man hit the nail on the head. Boehiem is trying to get someone else besides Warrick and McNamara to be a solid third option. It should be Pace, but he just isn't consistent and can't hit the outside jumper consistently.

I'm no Big East expert, but I would think the winner of the tournament will get a 3 seed, maybe a 2. Hard to say, and maybe I'm wrong about Syracuse. I know they played great against Villanova, it's just that I think in a one and done setting, they are too inconsistent to go very far. Just one man's opinion.

Don't you think that one of those big 4 are gonna win the tourney? I could see Villanova winning it too, but I don't think it will be Notre Dame.
