bulls +4250 to win the east at oly

took a shot here for $100. need something to keep me interested in the nba. the bulls are playing much better and i want a reason to watch them.

they will make the playoffs and have proven they can win on the road. they have beaten detroit at home and on the road so, they can make some noise in the playoffs. can they beat miami in a 7 game series...no. but, if they make it thru the first round, this will become a profitable situation.

well, i am hoping its not miami. if the bulls can get the 6th or 7th seed, they will not face miami until round 2 at the earliest. they can beat detroit.

its more of a fun bet for me. if they get miami in the first round, i'll hedge right away because they won't beat that team. anyone else, i'll gamble in round one.

Might be a tough hedge. Miami might be -800 against them ! Detroit would be pricey also.

if they get detroit...i would not hedge as i think they have a reasonable chance to beat them. if they get miami, i'd hedge it. i hope its not -800 though.

Actually picked it up about two weeks ago when they were already in the hunt....guess the book was sleeping a bit. Looks like we will be cheering each other on since we both have the marlins as well. :103631605

28:1 not worth it ! They won't win Central ( I pick them 4th in division), aren't a lock to make play-offs either.

If the Bulls are lucky enough to grab the 6th seed, they very well may have home-court advantage in the first round. The Atlantic Division winner is guaranteed the 3rd seed, which currently is Philly at 26-26. Home court advantage goes by records and has no bearing on seeding. The Bulls are currently 24-23, 1 game out of the 6th spot. If they can climb into that 6th spot, and nobody gets hot in the Atlantic Division, the Bulls could very easily have home court advantage in the 1st round.

Good point. Big statement game for them tonight against Sac. Strong defense and using Gordon to his full potential will be their key.

I think it would have to be between -160 to -200. They are looking good right now, and have a great chance, but teams like Jersey and Indy will make a push.

man, it was worth the $100 just watching them tonight. the crowd was into the game big time. ben gordon was awesome in the 4th quarter. if eddie curry could make a free throw, they win by 12 points going away.
