Utah Implosion last night has sent me to the sidelines...too much to handle!

Last night I was sitting on a 4-0 late ticket only to see the sorry a$$ Jazz completely meltdown in the last 30 secs....

had the Jazz+8.5 and the under 103 for a pretty good chunk of change, looking at a minimum of 3-1 and a probably 4-0, and then it happened!

42 points in the final 5 minutes and the Jazz completely folded....

Down 1 with 36 secs left, they miss an easy basket then, instead of playing solid D and getting the ball back they immediatley fouled....Long story short the end up blowing both plays.... :icon_conf

42 points in 5 minutes????, it was like the clock was broke :icon_conf

....time to cash out and protect profits :sad3:

I don't know how the basketball coaches have any hair left...basketball gambling is by far the most stressful!

It was the Howard Eisley show. He is the one that fouled with 31 seconds left. You are right. There is no reason to foul there. Eisley then turned the ball over with 24 seconds left. After two more Ft's, Eisley came down and hoisted up a 3 that missed. Another foul and 2 more FT's and it was over. You have to wonder if Jerry Sloan has his head in the game with this crock of sh*t team.

Thanks for filling me in Jack...I watched it on Yahoo...I swear i couldn' believe what i was seeing, figured yahoo had to be wrong....the damn clock wasn't moving...worst beat for me in quite sometime....amazing I lost both sides, this was worse than when Larry Walker hit a two strike homer to bad beat me in the 9th inning of the World Series....similar money swing:bed:

I was just hoping they'd nail a 3 at the buzzer...

How the fvck do you foul down one with 30 on the clock...:CUSSING:

Exactly what I am doing Bro...protecting a nice month of profits, not throwing it away off an emotional night...I hate to sit out right now but i feel its best to re-group...

Its usually a ridiculous bad beat that triggers a downward spiral, been there done that :lolBIG:

Sorry to hear that Journeyman. I have to agree that basketball is the MOST stressful sport to wager on. I was down bigtime on the first 3 games of the night so I decide to triple up my bet on DAL/GS over 100.5 2nd half and the game just died down in the final minutes.. need 2 pts to win.. with 11 sec left luckily, BIG Dirk was fouled at 0.3 sec and he made both FTs.

I was lucky as hell to nab that one.. imagine 0.3 sec left and he had to make both 2 FTs!! All thanks to Big Dirk for knocking both to make it 101 and I tell you that 0.3 sec is like 3yrs to me man... Dirk missed 2 FTs straight earlier in 4th Qtr.
Oh the AGONY... I just cant describe!

hahah druidwarrior,,,, I saw too ! I had GS 2nd half....I know it goes both ways...I also saw Dirk miss his FTs earlier...I was aware he needed both, lol, believe me!

I have absolutely gotten my ass handed to me the last month, but I can only blame myself for I made some bad Money Management decisions. Do as I say, not as I do. I may need some re-grouping too, but this is my fav betting, NBA and WNBA coming.

Too late I cashed out, these are the times I believe its best to protect profit... not throw it back ...too many guys take shots to get back to where they were, always looking to be at their peek...

take the profits and take a few days/weeks off once in a while...If you play everyday, you will more than likely fall into that trap...Its better to re-group if you are seriousy looking to make money!

i had a nice run...Actually I have won alot the past 6 months....lets not talk about 2003 though lol....

Anyway I had a bad night , I was 2-2 late , lost some earlier, I took a few big shots last night...I had U Conn ML-145 and KY ML-165, split my other games...So I lost some....had a real nice shot at winning big late but that Utah game just took the wind out of me...
