Opinions REQUESTED on Pinny's Futures

Hey guys,
Pinny looks to have posted some outrageous futures for the NCAA basketball tourney - now I am not saying the following teams are going to win the thing ( UNC + Ill are almost a foregone conclusion in most people's eyes) but the following just seem eye-popping.

UNC-Charlotte 334-1
Tex Tch 228-1
Okla 216-1
Cincy 228-1
Pacific 288-1
Maryland 205-1

Again, not saying these teams can cut down the nets, but won't there be hedge oppt'y here just by betting on their opponents moneyline??? I know the folks at Pinny are smart - these just seem off to me.
Opinions please.

trav, some of those numbers are definitely nice worth consideration. FWIW, I played Charlotte +50000 at WWTS, I think it's still available. They may very well be a 3 or 4 seed.

Don't think too highly of TT, but some of the others are tempting.

BTW, almost all of those odds you posted are NOW significantly higher. I see UNC is all the way down to +230 and Illinois jumped to +421. Who the F is going to play UNC at +230. Idiotic.

Thanks for the input buddy, I'm not a huge futures player normally, because 9 times out of 10 you'd make more just betting on the team every game and rolling the money over. BUT - a team like UNC Charl at 334-1 just seems outrageous - I played all of them for a few bucks each - like I said I can just take their opponents each round to hedge, but for $5 or $10 a pop who knows?? Upsets happen!

Charlotte now +40558

It's funny how these futures numbers move so often at Pinny. I think they just have it on auto-adjust to adjust all the numbers when they take in a bet so that they keep the overall hold % constant. Damn nice. Most books only move futures down when they get hit and end up with egregious holds. Pinny is first class.

I'm just afraid that I'll play one of these at 200-1 and then it'll be 300-1 an hour later. Would piss me off.

ILLINOIS went from +420 to +267 in the last 20 minutes. Smells like a limit bet to me. Wasn't me...I promise!
