I've attained a few trojans/viruses that Norton, Ad~aware, or Spybot will not rid of. I think these things have gotten so advanced that one or more of them will not allow me to do a free scan at TrendMicro.com. Every time I attempt the free scan there an error page comes up and I have to close. Any ideas guys..........?
Thanks.......

Use system restore on your computer. You can send your computer back to a date when it was running properly.

Wow man, thats a serious bug. Turning your system restore off.

When you use internet explorer, does it hijack your start page? I need to know this, it might help identify the problem.

Yes man, I had that exact same hijacker, its the worst one on the internet. It took me 3 weeks to find a program that would get rid if it. I tried hijack this, spybot and others. The only one I had success with was adware away. Its very simple to use, its not free though. It cost me 20 bucks. They have a solution for every hijacker know. If you download it, look under the remove hijacker tab, click it and then find the about blank hijacker. click on it and it will instantly remove it.

You can even go to the web site www.adwareaway.com and they even have an article on the front page of the site talking about the aboutblank hijacker.
