I watched boxing on HBO Saturday and the Staples Center had a huge sportsbook.com banner hanging from the ceiling. Then the announcer ("ready to rumble" guy) says the fight is being brought to you by sportsbook.com. Then I noticed sportsbook.com written big over the center of the ring, and each corner had cushions saying the name of the book. You couldn't watch the fight without seeing and hearing multiple references to it.
I was very surprised that Staples Center and HBO both went along with this.
This is a good sign.
Anyone else notice that?
David
P.S. By the way, I'm going to be on the You Can Bet On It show in Vegas tomorrow. Even if you're not in Vegas, you can listen to it on the Web by going to www.larrygrossman.com. I might mention this interesting advertising event, if the conversation goes that way.
