Trust is what the offshore industry needs more than anything else to thrive. When I talk to recreational gamblers who still use locals when wagering, they all tell me that the main reason they don't wager offshore is because they don't trust the industry enough to send their money out of the country.

The odds of your top books offshore going under or screwing you are almost 0 to none. If your local drops dead and he owes you you're screwed. I was on the other end of the stick oweing my local 7500$ back in 1981 and he was an idependent book with no partners and he drops dead of a heart attack on Sunday evening, not even long enough to do his weekly figures. Never was approached to pay either. He was a nice guy but hey I saved 7500$. Bottom line is I was hesitant to start betting offshore but I tried it back in 1990. Never have been screwed out of ANY money and have been paid basically fast on every payout since 1990. Back then trust was a minimal. Today with so many shops with the top 10 or 20 in the industry I feel much safer offshore than ever before. Wish the Rx would guarantee a certain amount with their advertisers like Major Wager does but I still feel confident and trust offshore to the max. The only thing that worries me is the fact of money transfering might get tougher to do in the next few months. we'll see!
