I would suggest any one of the Robertos for some inexpensive great tasting Mexican food. They have nothing to do with Roberto from TOW so Frankie5angels you can save a post here. :drink:

...not in any particular order:

-Aladdin casino's Spice Market Buffet/Brunch (around 22$) . Tandoori chicken is the bomb, try both lox de gravotte and oak smoked salmon

-Rio buffet/brunch (around 20$) . Fresh sushi and oriental, among everything else under the sun

-The Range (on the strip inside Bally's) (around 20$) Great steaks and seafood

-Sunset Station buffet (around 20$) . Saturday all you can drink beer plus grilled shortloin steaks to your specs.

-Main Street Station buffet (around 15$) . Friday's hawaiian theme rules

-PinkTacos @ Hard Rock casino (8-9$) Carne asada sticks. Incredible red sauce, pre-meal chips and different salsas also a winner

-Mr. Lucky's @ Hard Rock casino ($7.77) steak and shrimp dinner

-Pop's Cheesestakes (east tropicana past Eastern) ($5 -10$) killer philly steaksandiwches

-RumRunner (local tavern chain) build your own hamburger for less than 3 bucks. Don't forget to add their Wisky-Badger beer -battered fries :hump:

- WildWest Casino diner ($2.50) 1/3 lb. burger and fries. Just one will fill you up!

As far as buffets, you can't go wrong with Aladdin or Paris, imo. Get there at non-peak times so you don't have to wait.

Local bar shill alert. I recommend Crown and Anchor on Trop. a short cab ride from the strip. 30 beers on tap and has been named one fo the top 10 restaurants in Vegas last year. Tell 'em Big Mike sent ya.

I was at the Spice Market a few weeks ago. Very disappointing food and service. Also, no hard liquor--only beer and wine--what's up with that?

You would be hard pressed to find hard liquor in most buffets, but if you beg enough they usually can send someone out to get you one. Best advice for that is to bring it in if you want it.

Best overall value to eat at is the Palms IMO. The buffet and cafe are great deals, Gardunos isn't bad for Mexican (I am very picky on Mexican so hard for me to say any place is good), and the atmosphere is always "nice".

Orleans buffet is the best value, breakfast might be the best deal in town. Rio buffet is excellent, but long lines, not cheap, and the fact that there is just too much good food to eat you can't eat all you will want there. Bellagio is good for buffet if you are craving upper crust food and the desserts are good.

For drinking and eating, go to Pink Taco before 6pm, get two for one Pacificos and order up some tacos and you can't go wrong.

And the good ole dog at the Ho is now $1.49, but still a good deal. For $3 you can get a huge hot dog, 3/4 pounder, and a 27oz margarita that has a little booze in it. Where else can you get a deal like that?
