You can use a keyboard and mouse on your laptop. There should be a port for the keyboard in the back and you can use the USB port for a USB mouse. Heck, you can even plug a monitor into the back of a laptop for a bigger screen.

There are also docking stations for laptops that allow you to connect to all 3 more easily.

Shrink, a couple weeks ago you said "Oh baby" in a post of yours and I responded "Oh behave" to which you promptly flipped me off. I didn't read it until later so I didn't respond, thinking you wouldn't read the response. What I was referring to was Austin Powers. I didn't mean to scold you.

So in response to this statement made by you I say:
[as Austin Powers]: Oh behave!

Saw something on 20/20 that using a labtop on your lap will fry your sperm. Seems better than condoms to me.

It's amazing to me that the laptop makers do not make an easier mouse to use with their product. That is the biggest reason that I haven't bought one. I know as soon as I do--up they will come with a useable mouse attached!

I am planning on getting a laptop at some point. Does anyone here use a wireless internet service so you can just use it online anywhere? How reliable is the service and how much does it cost?

I used to have a Sprint card that would fit in the pcmcia slot of my laptop. I don't know how much it cost since my employer paid for it. I could use it in most major cities. It was basically a dial-up Internet connection and would work anywhere.

In Los Angeles, Verizon has a wireless internet service that can be used anywhere. It is currently available in most major cities. $79.99/month.

Responding to another topic.

I bought a nice desktop a couple years ago. Wish I would have gotten a laptop and bought a monitor to use at home.
