What if Bonds hits 50+ Homers this year?

Doesn't Barry have more pressure on him than ever before?

If he lays an egg and hits 23 homeruns and drives in 74 in 140+ games he will be laughed at and ridiculed even more than he already is...

Let's say though Bonds puts up 50 Hrs drives in 115 and bats .340 , while walking 175+ times....then what?

Is he still cheating if he has another great year ?

Won't be cheating in his own world but will still be on the juice. I believe he will get a minor injury and build it up as a major injury and not play much if he doesn't get off to a good start!

even though he isnt rubbing the " cream " all over himself it doesnt mean he aint gonna blast 50 + bombs.

he plays a full season , he will hit .340 and crush 45 to 55 homers.

he still has the quickest bat in the nl..

i'm waiting for espn to go back and look at every home run he hit in the past 3 or so years and check and see how many just barely cleared the fence.

meaning his new found strength turned warning track shots into home runs.

seems every HR i've ever seen him hit goes 425 feet.

He has no shame or humility. He says he respect's the game, which is complete BS. He is a smug, self-serving, arrogant prick who doesn't deserve the right to be placed along, Aaron, Ruth, Mantle, Mays etc. He is a disgrace.

If a white player had said he wanted to pass Aaron b/c he's black, all holy hell would break loose. It would a all over the news, newspapers, radio etc. It would be a national crisis. Why does he get away with it?

Barry is just being Barry, a guy with great talent but very few like.. Babe will always be Babe and does not matter if Barry passes him,, however if he gets close to Aaron, ill bet you anything that Henry Aaron will speak out against him big.... If you guys know anything about Henry Aaron, you can imagine how he is going to approach this... He will snub Barry, as well he should...
