Does This count

I was on Cops once. I was the one that got my head banged on the car then they gave me this set of braclets and a free ride. At 1st I thought I was just making a cameo and then I became the star.

I worked on the field at Memorial Stadium at U of I from 94 to 97...

Was intervewed by local news before the Illinois/Southern Miss game in Early September 1997 about the teams chances that year and what were the people's vibes about this team.

Needless to say, this was Illinois 0-11 team LOL

Been on tv a few times....all at sporting events however. But all three times were closeups and had friends call saying they saw me on tv.

Nebraksa-Iowa State game a couple years back when ISU upset Nebraska in Ames. Close up of me ready to rush the field at the end.

Cubs-Yankees game in Wrigley a couple years ago, close of me in the front row of the bleachers after an Alex Gonzalez double in the gap.

Wizard-Bulls. Jordans first game back in Chicago as a Wizard, happened to be in the right place at the right time walking around the arena before the game, and NBC showed me in pregrame intro.

Really wanna be on Sportscenter someday. That would be cool.

damn you just reminded me! i won tickets from a radio show and got to go to see the bulls vs lakers in game 5 of the 1991 nba finals. i sat 8 rows from the floor facing the lakers bench and right behind tom cruise and dustin hoffman. i was told i was seen a few times and was on the forum floor as the bulls celebrated thier 1st title. i was looking for MJ but ran into cartrights knobby knees.lol. i begged him for his jersey and he began to pull it up and i was totally swept away by the crowd. argh!

Wow, that is one hell of an experience. Im jealous. Would've been sweet to get Cartwrights jersey, very key player in the first 3-peat. Only finals game I saw was game 1 of the Bulls-Sonics in '96 at the United Center. Seeing that 72 win Bulls team in the NBA Finals is something I will never forget.

wow. im still a sonics fan even tho i live in san diego now. i won my tickets from a radio dj who had a trivia question: before mike dunleavy became the lakers head coach where did he come from? i was the 1st caller to answer milwaukee. my boyfriend at the time told me that...then i took my brother to the game for his pre wedding gift.lolol. we both were starstruck that night. evander holeyfield walked past us and i thought my bro was going to break his leg jumping in front of evander begging for his autograph.lmfao...but the love cennection was still the funnest experience i ever had. the date sucked but oh well. lmfaooooo.......

My GF's brother has season tickets to the Angels and the private club behind home plate. I went to a nationally televised game on ESPN. I was able to sit on the stairs for a bit (everyone takes turn) and when the camera angle is behind the pitcher towards home plate, your 15 minutes of fame starts. I called my mother on my cell and told her to tune to ESPN. I then waived and said, "Hi mom". I also called buddies that owed me money and told them to tune to ESPN, I told them I was watching THEM. A couple of the less swift got spooked and asked "Man how do you do that?" It was funny.

MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY times!

first off - i have been to games and been on TV. the most memorable was 22 years ago thursday - when fullerton beat #1 and unbeaten UNLV, 86-78. we stormed the court and somehow found my way in front of a camera with a red light on - and i knew that meant is was "hot" and on-air so i went nuts!

1971: 7-years-old i was on Truth or Consequences - the premise of the show was i played "house" with some other girl around that age. mom tells me i was a riot! i would pay ANYTHING for a copy of that show - but i have asked around forever and it appears as if it is gone forever!

1987/1990: did color commentary for a csuf women's game vs. frseno state (1987) and men's game vs. new mexico state (1990).

1989: Made it to the Semis of the ESPN show" Superbowl of Sports Trivia" - losing to the team that won it all. thankfully i have a copy of all 3 shows

1991: i am working at espn. i just got done working on baseball tonight. sportscenter began and it was (then) in the same studio. we all decided to watch the 1st few seconds of the show then leave. we are leaning up against the BBTN set. after the SC tease they took the WRONG camera and instead of showing dan patrick and gary miller they showed all of us leaning against the BBTN set

1992: i am at the FIRST EVER rematch of Team USA/USSR in ice hockey since the 1980 Miracle on Ice. the 3rd period starts and i am right up against the glass in the USA (defensive) zone. the play happens RIGHT IN FRONT f me - so i pound the glass. i call home that night and speak to Sis. she asks if i was at the usa/ussr game. i tell her i was. she asks if i wore brown pants, a white short and had some facial hair - and i tell her i did. she then tells me she saw me at the game in the 3rd period.

1996ish: I appear on the ESPN game show, "Sports on Tap" but lose in the show finals

2000: I appear on the show "Sports Geniuses" on FOX - the show airs on my B-day. i pull a "Cliff Clavin" and come from way ahead to lose. instead of a trip to tahoe i get a 36" flat screen TV. true story: so the day the show airs, my bro and i are at some restaurant watching the show. the show starts and this GORGEOUS woman at the bar looks at the screen, then looks back at me, looks at the screen then back at me and realizes i am on TV. she gets a big smile on her face. i am thinking i might have a chance with her. i am going to wait for the 1st commercial break - for i KICKED ASS in the 1st round - and figure she will see me and see i kicked ass and maybe.... just before the 1st commercial break, some 6'5", 300ihs pound guy comes walking in - heads straight to her and they kiss - obviously they were an item. i am grateful i didn't hit on her - for her guy would have ripped me in 2!

Last year the show "I'd do Anything" wanted me to do a show - but i couldn't free the time in my sked at the last minute - so i didn't get on. i am hopeful of being on a show sometime this year - maybe

i am also working on a "Stupid Human Trick" that i believe WILL get me on Letterman - but if so - it probably won't be until mid-2006 for reasons i can't get into now.

because my undergrad degree is in Broadcast Journalism i am used to being in front of the camera so when i am there - i don't freeze up at all - unlike some who go to pieces - and i truly believe this helps me out greatly when i do make these shows.

Interviewed in the audience of a Letterman show in August of 1984...something along the lines of the stupidest thing you've ever done. I've done so many stupid things, I don't remember which one I used.

played in a team golf tournament called the oldsmobile scramble. 4 hacks and 1 pro. i was one of the hacks.. actually about a 3 handicap.

our team made it thru 2 qualifying rounds and headed to vegas for the finals.

it was 1999.

about 5 holes into our second round we took the lead. ESPN was there and following groups around.

they caught up with us and realized that myself and 2 other players on our 5 man team were bombed. their were coolers full of whatever you wanted on every tee box.

we proceed to make like 15 birdies in a row and the cameras are rolling.

the 4th and final round is sunday morning and we have a 1 shot lead. as me and my buddy are walking to the first tee at 9 a.m. , both us carrying a 5 pack in one hand an open heineken in the other i hear the espn camera man say into his headset , " holy sh-t , these guys are drinking already"

they showed some good shots of mine, like when i stuck a 5 iron from 195 right over the flag about 8 feet away after all my teamates scattered them all over the yard..

great time..

Only had my name mentioned on TV. It was on ESPN'S Horseracing Digest Show back in 1994, announcing me as the winner of the Daily Racing Form's Fantasy Stables Contest. Ended up winning $10,000 and had a race named in my honor at Suffolk Downs. This all occurred 2 weeks after the birth of my daughter. It was quite the month !!! I believe I was stupid enough to tape over the show but fortunately I still have the DRF article, and picture of me at the track, framed right next to my desk.David

I caddied for Tim Clark in 1998 when he won the CPGA championship in Canada. He shot 62 on Saturday and holed a 35 yard bunker shot for eagle on a par 5 to go 10 under after 14 holes. The golf channel was covering the event and his holed shot turned out to be the golf channels shot of the day. It shows me giving him a high five as he is coming out of the bunker. I thought he was going to break 60 that day. Best round of golf I have ever seen and I had the best seat in the house.
