Man in the last few days I've seen and heard of some crazy **** in hoops, some quite questionable, any truth to rumors they are investigating the MAC conference on some weird happenings lately, anyways regardless of what people say I sure miss hockey!! When to MSG lately to catch and live NBA game, I'd rather watch live hockey anyday, but I'll be right there come tourney time.
I've learned that when a team is up big with a minute or two left, some coach's will put in there scrubs. These guys never get game time so they will try to make plays and most times make stupid fouls and throw up shots when the time can just run out, like me with the Syracuse game the other night. Lately more and more games are being backdored than ever before. Hey Cincy last night was up huge over 20 late and couldn't cover and almost blew it all together. Makes one wonder what the hell is going on today in college hoops! What happened to the NO FOULS by a coach with under 40 seconds left when you are trailing by 12 or so.
General, I think that is exactly what happened in the Marq. game, although they were down way to many to win with 3 minutes left, Cream showed his team(and me for that matter) that you can come back from a fair amount if things go your way. They were down around 20 with 3 minutes left.
Fouling with 20 seconds left down 14 is a little silly though.
