Plenty of very rich guys gamble heavy, professional is another story. There are probably more very rich bookmakers than very rich pros pro sports bettors. (I am talking about sports bettors not card players). There is a fairly small to medium sized clique of pros that are among the multi-millionaire category. I can't speak for the Asians, Euros or Austrailans with any authority.
