Someone from New York won an E-Bay auction for 1-day naming rights to the arena where the Bruins and Celtics play. Proposed name: "Derek Jeter Arena".

I liked it when FARK.com bought naming rights to the FleetCenter for February 28th and got rebuffed when they tried to name it the "Duke Sucks Center"
