UCONN A Legit shot a repeating?

They appear to have played their way into a decent shot at making a nice run again...

A young team that's growing up quickly, Villanueva, Boone,Gay all growing up fast , not to mention they have a tremendous young point guard...and a great great tournament coach

Uconn has a shot but I don't like them this year......if everyone stays WATCH OUT next year!

If UCONN can win the Big East Tourney and get a #1 seed I like their chances to get to the finals. They certainly have the coach and the experience.

I think the play of Villanueva over the next month will be key. If he can consitently produce w/points and rebounds, the Huskies imo will be a verytough out.

Not enough shooters. Lost 2 top 5 lottery picks. Cant play full court basketball with the likes of Wake Forrest and North Caralina.

I think they can make a nice run. Remember, Rashad Anderson's been out too. He adds another 3 ball shooter and was great in last year's tourney. Denham Brown's been shooting well and Marcus Williams is turning into an excellent point guard. A definate shot at the Final Four if they get the right draw.

Anderson and Williams gelling into very good players, this team is growing up quickly...Particularly Williams ball distribution,remember they lost to UNC but the key injury had just happened, they have since adjusted very nicely..

Can you imagine this team with Okafor still on the team ?:toast:

they did lose to NC but like bosox said, without anderson and they are playing much better now......that being said i dont think it's in the cards for them this year, though they could go far........

Glad somebody finally brought this team up. They are playing wonderful basketball right now and I've enjoyed watching them play the last couple weeks. They are getting it going at the right time and definitely have a good shot at repeating.
