If you have to made a "special standing" on who has been the best school last few years considering football and basketball combined ( for example USC top football and bad in basketball, UCONN Top in Basket and bad in football = tied or very close ) who is your choice?

1. OKLAHOMA

The top 5 in no particular order:

Oklahoma
Texas
Georgia Tech
LSU
Texas Tech
All 5 have top 30 teams in both sports

You have a 15years old kid that is a great athlete and play good in both football and basketball, you have a chance to choose where to send him, you have a dream want him be a future professional football or basketball player. Wich university you will choose based on last few years results? I say Ok because always a top 3 in football and top 25 with a final four in hoops.

Royal, i agree with Baylor a close third with Grambling and Elon College. :toothless :toothless

I'm a little biased here, but not much: I would have to say Oklahoma and I would say also, NOTRE DAME. Notre Dame has an overall good football program and tradition and an overall good basketball program and tradition. tulsa

I am assuming we are only counting this past season, another team not mentioned is North Carolina, the football team showed marked improvement and beat Miami, and the basketball team may end up being the champions ..

Iowa should be up there, unfortunately the bball team isnt pulling its weight. Hawkeyes normally solid in both sports throughout the last couple decades.

dude, I don't know what NCAA you're looking at, but Notre Dame may not even be in the top 25 in the past 5 years for either.

...my vote for top football/hoops combined would be Prairie View A&M....:monsters-
