I never have, though I did try out for ESPN's "2 Minute Drill" before it came out...

let em tell you, I never had a shot to be on that show......the night i went, i went to manhattan with 2 of my boys......one of them made it as a alternate with a small shot of getting on, though he never did.....u had to take a sports trivia test, which i didn't do well enough on......i went there with all the confidence in the world, but i missed questions about crap like indoor bike racing, olympic sports.....i did miss some "real sports" questions too, but it was that other crap that cost me.......most of those guys that were there that night forgot more about sports than i know......but i betchya they couldnt pick a winner vs the spread......

Wilheim: >>Where's the Wife Tonight?<<

That had to suck, but you made me spew beer all over my monitor and that, I'm telling you, makes your first marriage entirely worthwhile (to me at least.) I had to go get a towel and wipe up the screen before I could even reply. tulsa

Tulsa glad you got a kick out of it, I posted it to be funny. That was a lot of years ago and a lot of miles down the road. I have got some great stories from that marriage (early 70's). Today I have a great wife who treats me like a king, she is from Costa Rica and gives me zero grief.

Take care, wil.

Well, I was spewing beer with you...not ever at you. I'm glad you found better and thanks for sharing that post. Here's to better days, and happy wives and fewer stories...cuz the really good stories are the ones we don't want to do again. That's what makes a great story... tulsa

Corporeal,

I don't know you, of course, and you don't know me, but I really appreciate you saying that. I really don't think anyone has said better of me in, my God, a long, long time. So, from one struggling soul to another, keep up the fight and thanks for taking your time to make me feel better (actually, I wasn't feeling bad at all, but damnation I FEEL GREAT NOW!!)
Thanks. tulsa
