....and other sports/gambling related sites.

Would suspect some allready do in a roundabout way somewhat.

Money well invested on their part.

That would be smart but if you advertise here much less can be said bout that shop before being moved. So in sense you mods are a monitor for your advertisers. When a question is posted bout an advertiser here a mod will jump at trying to get the info you need. Other non advertisers are left to the posters here in post on.

Jimmy-- Not just speaking of issues with their particular book perse, but also with things they can learn to better aid in their bookmaking.

But your point is well taken.

These are just TWO things mentioned that would make it worth their time, as well as countless other reasons.

I am glad that you mentioned this.

AsI mentioned in my initial posts, I used to read the rx daily when I worked at a book.

I found great marketing ideas and learned what the gambler wanted and was looking for which helpedme sell better.

Unfortunately, my boss frowned upon fourms and claimed that I was wasting time. Other employees were looking at porn, video games and non work related sites. I was trying to see which books were promoting good bonuses and what you guys though of the books. At least I was trying to improve my knowledge and share ideas with the other telemarketers.

I agree, it is well worth the money and time to have a savvy person monitor the sites.

I Would Think, That Most Sports Books Have A Marketing Dept., And I Can Not Believe That They Have All That Much To Do. I Would Assume They Do Check On A Daily Basis. But I Would Also Say They Need To Take A Lot Of What Is Said Here, With A Grain Of Salt.....

Absolutely correct G Money. A grain of salt for many threads here bout sportbooks. I'm telling you if there were books here with monitors you'd have certain people trying to start problems just to get a free buck in their account. Better kept the way things are. Yes Skybook has progressed because of this site but they also put thousands into it to. Do other books want to get involved like this, my guess would be many won't.

GMAN-

When I say monitor, do not mean just of sporstbook disputes and such.

I am also talking about how it can help their bottom line as far as bookmaking is concerned with information from knowledgable posters.

The forums make me thousands of dollars a year as a player and the same would be true for the sportsbooks.............on a MUCH bigger scale.

I can fully understand why they do not. With a handful of posters who are gonna slam them and twist their words around to suit their agenda no matter what, they likely cannot win by posting here. They could, but they would have to be able and turn the other way on some dummy issues that are brought up. Like Wsexsteve was cool the other day when bernie wanted to raise hell over a small issue, but ol' steve handled it as well as he could have. Many people cannot maintain their bearing through a slanderous thread and a book definately doesn't need a PR person who cannot handle the heat at times. If they fight back and turn unprofessional, they are in a lose-lose situation.

It is obvious that they dont. Just look at how many peoples talk without knowing REAL facts.
